Title: CWW Puts ANDRITZ’s Hydropower Leadership in the Spotlight
WaterPower Canada (WPC) is excited to welcome ANDRITZ as a Conference Leader and VIP Exhibitor at Canadian Waterpower Week (CWW, September 25-27).
Synonymous with the global hydropower industry, ANDRITZ Hydropower has more than 185 years of experience in turbine design and over 135 years in electrical equipment experience. In total, leading to the global installation of over 33,200 turbines.
From small to large scale hydro power plants, ANDRITZ has earned the trust of hydropower operators, through their reliable and innovative state-of-the-art water-to-wire solutions, as well as comprehensive operational and maintenance support and services.
Over the years, ANDRITZ has been an active participant in WaterPower Canada governance and annual conferences, contributing as a sponsor, exhibitor, and presenter. The company’s active involvement has ensured its visibility and has helped cement ANDRITZ as a major player in the Canadian and North American hydro industry.
In ANDRITZ’s words, CWW “has been a great venue to meet and have value added discussions with decision makers from Canadian utilities and business partners”. In advance of this year’s conference, ANDRITZ is looking forward to “networking with clients, suppliers and business partners, receiving the overall industry update from key players, and contributing to the promotion of hydropower as a preferred solution for decarbonizing Canadian economy.”
This year, CWW attendees will once again benefit from ANDRITZ’s involvement, including the presentation of the ANDRITZ Hydro Automation platform, hearing first-hand about the company’s role in rehabilitating the Canadian hydro fleet, and learning about ANDRITZ’s advocacy for Early Contractor Involvement, a Target Price contractual model, and supply chain integration for major overhaul projects.
At VIP Exhibitor Booth #4 (Confederation Foyer), the ANDRITZ team will be ready to showcase how their company is leading the charge in waterpower. CEO Daniel Carrier encourages attendees to witness the company’s innovation firsthand: “Join our leadership team at the exhibition floor and during our VIP reception to find out more about ANDRITZ and to tell us about your challenges, so we can find solutions together.”
